Registration has began for the MN GLBTA Soccer League. The cost is 40.00 if registration is paid by April 15th, 50.00 if paid after that day. Fees will be used to cover the cost of permits this summer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

There will be 4 teams, all of which will have equal skill level. All skill levels and players are welcome to join.

Play will be on Saturdays between 2 and 4 o'clock at Bryn Mawr.

As a reminder we will be playing pick up soccer on March 12th from 8:30-10:30pm. We play at Corner Kick Soccer Facility in Maplewood on the Wembley Field. Please remember to bring an orange, black, and white shirt along with 10-12 dollars to help the group cover the cost of the field. Cleats are a no no but shin guards are recommended. We will have Pick Up Soccer for those that are interesting in attending on March 5th. We will be playing from 8:30-10:30pm on the Wemble Field at Corner Kick Soccer Facility. Please bring a black, white, and an orange shirt so we can break into teams. We ask that everyone pay 10-12 dollars (depending on the number of people that show up) to help cover the cost of the field.

Congratulations to the Orange Crush on their first playoff victory in the CSC League. This is the first time any of the teams we have put together have made it to a playoff game. The final score was 4-2.

The game started off with a quick goal by our forwards. It was time for shock and awe. After some passing back and forth their defense tried to clear the ball but ended up scoring on their own goal. It wasn't pretty, but we took it.

During half time we made sure we did just sit back but instead we came out and attacked. We knew they were going to be pushing hard. Sure enough they did. We scored a goal and they came back and scored two back to back. It was getting a little hairy and we knew the time was counting down. In last few minutes of the game we had a corner kick and it went right to Ben who popped the ball right in.

Good job to all of those that played today. Was a great game. The Sunday Orange Crush team this season is 3-3-2, our best record to date.

Wednesday night we will be having our pick up game, March 5th, at 8:30 PM at Corner Kick Indoor Soccer in Maplewood. Players should try to arrive by 8:15 PM to warm up.

Players should bring a white t-shirt, a black t-shirt, and also an orange t-shirt so that we can split into three visually distinct teams. We will ask each player to kick in $12 this week to cover the cost of our field rental. No outdoor cleats please.
