Orange Crush Win First Playoff Game
Congratulations to the Orange Crush on their first playoff victory in the CSC League. This is the first time any of the teams we have put together have made it to a playoff game. The final score was 4-2.
The game started off with a quick goal by our forwards. It was time for shock and awe. After some passing back and forth their defense tried to clear the ball but ended up scoring on their own goal. It wasn't pretty, but we took it.
During half time we made sure we did just sit back but instead we came out and attacked. We knew they were going to be pushing hard. Sure enough they did. We scored a goal and they came back and scored two back to back. It was getting a little hairy and we knew the time was counting down. In last few minutes of the game we had a corner kick and it went right to Ben who popped the ball right in.
Good job to all of those that played today. Was a great game. The Sunday Orange Crush team this season is 3-3-2, our best record to date.
